Fishing around Danebu Kongsgaard

There are several waters near Danebu Kongsgaard that have good fishing opportunities. Right next to the hotel are Damtjern and Lomtjedne. Here you can catch both aure (trout) and perch. Aurdal Fjellpark rents a boat to Lomtjednet and Danebu Kongsgaard rents a boat to Damtjern.

In the Aurdalsfjord you will find both trout, perch and whitefish. There are several places to fish from land around the lake, but there is also the option of renting a boat from Aurdal Fjordcamping. Fjordcampen is also happy to share local knowledge about where the fish usually bite. Rumor has it that the wobbles and the worms are two hitters to fool the fish on the hook.
