At Danebu Kongsgaard, you and your taste buds will embark on a culinary journey based on local ingredients. We are dedicated to offering food experiences that are in harmony with nature and provide you with a taste of the surrounding area. Our chefs create everything from scratch, and if we cannot source the ingredients locally, we always prioritize organic, Norwegian producers. Our local head chef, Gøran Bring, has a passion for crafting incredible dishes and will ensure that you and your companions have an unforgettable dining experience. We also offer themed evenings and weekends, such as Game Night, and we can arrange tastings where you can sample everything from the finest Norwegian cheeses to beer from local breweries. Danebu Kongsgaard is a proud member of Hanen, a nationwide business organization that supports rural tourism, farm food, and inland fishing in Norway. the Kongsgaard Restaurant

In the Kongsgaard Restaurant, we serve a varied 3-course menu based on locally sourced, and seasonal high-quality ingredients. This provides an exciting culinary experience while significantly reducing food waste, which is especially important as an environmentally certified business. The price per person is 845 NOK, but the menu is not published in advance as it depends on the availability of ingredients. The menu is served at 7:00 PM. We recommend making a reservation and informing us about any allergies, intolerances, or special dietary requirements as early as possible so we can customize the menu accordingly.

Peisestuen Food & Wine Bar

Peisestuen Mat & Wine Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious lunch or sharing plates in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Additionally, you can try our unique Fjellplank, a mix of foccacia and pizza with fresh short travelled topping and indulge in some delightful drinks. Whether you're stopping by for a cup of coffee, a glass of something, or a full meal, you are welcome here. Come and savor great food and drinks in a laid-back atmosphere at Peisestuen Mat & Wine Bar.
